Job Loss Aid
Provides financial support to members who experience unexpected job loss, helping ease the transition period and cover essential expenses.
How it works through Takaful:
Members contribute monthly to a shared pool. When a member loses their job, they can apply for assistance from the pool to help maintain financial stability during their job search. This mutual aid model ensures members support one another in times of employment hardship.
Funeral Aid (Janazah)
ATG provides financial and logistical support to cover funeral expenses, easing the burden on families during their time of loss.
How it works through Takaful:
Members contribute a small monthly fee into a shared pool. When a member passes away, funds from the pool are used to cover the funeral costs. The system operates on mutual assistance, not profit — ensuring dignity and compassion without debt.
ATG Takaful Plus – Extended Mutual Aid Membership
ATG Takaful Plus is our most comprehensive mutual aid membership, designed to provide expanded financial support for members and their families during times of hardship. Built upon the principles of cooperation, shared responsibility, and ethical, interest-free financial assistance, Takaful Plus strengthens the collective safety net by offering broader and more extensive aid coverage.
This enhanced membership level provides financial assistance for essential basic needs during qualifying hardships. Support may include help with housing expenses, utilities, groceries, transportation, and other necessary living costs when a member faces verified financial difficulty. The goal is to provide short-term stabilization while members work toward restoring financial balance.
In addition to basic needs assistance, Takaful Plus includes debt aid support in the event of a member’s passing. If a deceased member leaves behind qualifying outstanding obligations, the mutual aid pool may provide financial relief to help ease the burden on surviving family members. This support is designed to protect loved ones from immediate financial strain during an already difficult time.
Takaful Plus may also provide additional categories of assistance depending on the member’s situation and the overall status of the mutual aid fund. Because this program operates as a cooperative financial assistance model and not conventional insurance, all aid is distributed based on fairness, eligibility requirements, and available funds within the collective pool.
Eligibility requirements may include:
- Active membership in good standing
- Consistent and timely contributions
- Verification of hardship or qualifying event
- Compliance with program guidelines
The longer a member remains active and committed within the Takaful Plus program, the stronger their standing within the mutual aid structure. Continued participation supports the sustainability of the fund while increasing potential access to expanded assistance categories over time.
All financial support is subject to review and approval, and assistance amounts are determined based on contribution history, length of membership, and the current strength of the collective fund. While aid is not guaranteed, every effort is made to distribute support fairly and responsibly among eligible members.
